At Adonai Centre, we are privileged to serve children from Adonai Junior School, Adonai Medical Centre, and Adonai Children’s Homes. Each day, we provide these children with breakfast and lunch, while those residing at the Children’s Homes also receive supper.
However, the absence of a proper shelter for meal times presents significant challenges. Currently, children dine under trees to eat, but this makeshift arrangement is far from ideal—especially during the rainy season. When it rains, the shade provided by the trees is insufficient, leaving the children without a safe, dry place to eat.
To address this pressing issue and enhance the overall experience for our children, we urgently need to construct a dedicated dining hall. This facility will offer a safe, comfortable, and dignified space for the children to enjoy their meals, free from the unpredictability of the weather.
Beyond providing a better dining experience, the new hall will also serve as a resourceful community space where we can offer skills training, health education programs, and support services to the broader community, including grandmothers, widows, and single mothers.
A purpose-built dining hall will not only improve the welfare of the children but will also help strengthen our mission to serve and uplift the entire community. With your support, we can create a space that promotes health, learning, and dignity for all.
